The exceptions are: Stop signs- there aren't many and they don't seem to have any effect on traffic. Sure people are driving fast, but i had the impression they were pretty good drivers (You have to be careful of the cars behind you when you intend to stop at the red light ). Talking about France, people need to precise the area as the habits are different depending of where your are.
