FleshPilot 0 #1 September 25, 2014 Are there reasonably safe and affordable neighborhoods near the DZ? Any info would be great. I don't require any fancy living, just don't have any real interest in being murdered or robbed. I'm looking into moving near a DZ that jumps all year long. We don't have that in Ohio LIVE FAST - NEVER DIE

BETO74 0 #3 September 25, 2014 Yes, and the DZ is located in a nice area hardly doubt you will ever get robbed or anything, nothing ever happens there of that nature, nice bars and restaurants near by the water great ppl, I like DeLand too but the fact is not near the water doesn't appeal to me, call manifest I am sure they will give you all the info. I have a trailer parked there that I am not using if you are interestedhttp://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

FlyInSky 0 #8 September 27, 2014 If the gators don't get you, the rattlesnakes will. It's not the people you have to worry about at Sebastian, but nature.
JohnMitchell 16 #9 September 27, 2014 I see a few are trying to talk you into Deland. I've been to neither, but Sebastian is much closer to the water. Drdiver and Ladydiver are building a new house close to Sebastian. I think either DZ would be a great choice, but I'd go for Sebastian if you want the water. Other than the Florabama Bar beach jumps, Sebastain has the best views in freefall. PLFKING 4 #11 September 28, 2014 QuoteAgreed.... Sebastain has the best views Agreed +1. We did a sunset cross-country from a few miles out.....coming in over the beach and the Waterway, with the sun's rays slicing down through some distant thunderheads and twenty other colorful canopies in the foreground.......you literally couldn't ask for more.
