Reminder - politics, guns and religion posts

This is just a reminder that while the Bonfire is a good forum for general/fun/silly/popular discussions, it is not the place for discussions of politics, guns or religion. I'm not going to try and argue to change your established policy, but I'd like to know how guns are in the same category as politics and religion? Guns are just cool tech gadgets the same as a new wingsuit, sports cars, woodworking, and iPods. How could firearms be such a sensitive topic?

Some people seem to get very angry when posting about such topics. Many years ago all non-skydiving discussions took place in Bonfire, and many of the forum's users got annoyed by the endless politics/guns/religion arguments that took over that forum. Thus Willem created a new forum - Speaker's Corner - specifically for those topics.

so im new here but had to throw this out

we cant talk about religion, but we can talk about boobies.......

but boobies are worshiped like a religion :D

but I am guessing the only reason its okay is due to the fact no one is going to argue over boobies being good or bad.....I mean......who doesn't love boobies?
