Toddnkaya1 0 #3 February 13, 2014 I would color them with a black ink marker, but not time for the trash yet. Do they have somewhere you can donate them? Goodwill?
ryoder 1,590 #4 February 13, 2014 I can put up with a little rattiness, but that is *way* beyond my acceptable level. "There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
davjohns 1 #5 February 13, 2014 Depends. If you just need them from time to time and don't want to spend the money on new ones, you could keep them. You could keep them for yard work or something where appearance isn't necessary. If you need gloves on a daily basis and you are wearing them to work, you should shell out a few bucks for new ones.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
ryoder 1,590 #6 February 13, 2014 This is disturbing: "Would you throw these in the trash?" and the top pick is "boobies". "There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
Nataly 38 #7 February 13, 2014 ryoder This is disturbing: "Would you throw these in the trash?" and the top pick is "boobies". ETA: I *do* wear them every time I ride in the winter (which is practically every day)... I have 2 other (practically new) pairs, but they aren't as comfy (or warm) as these. My thought is that if they serve their purpose (protect and keep warm), why should I throw them out just because they look a bit ugly?"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss
Krip 2 #8 February 13, 2014 Hi Nice Lady If they were my only pair of gloves I might add some duct tape. But since you already have two other pair of gloves, personally I would bin them. Beware of hoarding!,One Jump Wonder

wmw999 2,534 #10 February 13, 2014 I'd either sew or duct tape them too. If nothing else, sewing them means that wetness won't get inside as easily. masterrig 1 #13 February 13, 2014 I was thinking rip-stop tape! Just so long as she doesn't take them to a rigger. Chuck
wmw999 2,534 #14 February 13, 2014 Quote rip-stop I always had to stitch around the edge to make it stay. I'm sure you saw all those canopies with oily-looking spots around the holes too . Might as well just sew them in the first place. Wendy P.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. When something like that was given to me, what could've been a small patch turned into a big patch. I never really have cared for rip-stop tape.
