skybytch 273 #1 October 9, 2013 Today marks 22 days tobacco free. After 30 years. I don't miss it. I've tried gum, lozenges, patches and cold turkey in the past. Nothing worked for more than six days. For me, the ecig is working well to calm the nicotine monkey. I recommend it to those who are struggling. Yay me. wmw999 2,534 #3 October 9, 2013 That's awesome. I have a couple of friends who use the e-cigs, and they're thrilled with them. Toddnkaya1 0 #9 October 10, 2013 Congrats, but if your using e-cigs your still using nicotine every day thus you have not really quit sort of. I'm not trying to be a dick, just saying. I know a friend that has been using e- cigs for years, thus he is still addicted to the nicotine. No doubt e- cigs are way better for you though. Good luck! Quitting nicotine will come with time. I'm no longer breathing in tobacco smoke. That's a big deal. Don't really give a shit what you think.

Kat4821 0 #23 February 4, 2014 I had to quit smoking months ago. I would wake up in the morning with my chest feeling like I had a 10 ton boulder on it. Probably the hardest thing I've ever done. I picked it up in 2008 on deployment. I saw all the cool kids doing it, and thought, hmm, they all seem like they are making the best of life in Iraq. Sleeping under our vehicles in the sand with a smoke before bed…Then I started working out really heavy and it just wasn't for me. I will occasionally have a smoke, but I don't enjoy it anymore… it's just the "go to" stress reliever…I end up taking a puff and I gag. I have friends that all do the e-cig deal and they all like it… Are there any "health concerns" with those things? I understand its just water vapor, but what happens in your lungs with the water vapor? I figure its better than inhaling smoke, tar, carcinogens and all that other jazz.. davjohns 1 #24 February 4, 2014 Good for you!I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
