ryoder 1,590 #26 January 18, 2014 Nataly ***If you get a new bike, we'll need a new pic with you in your leathers.(You can include the bike in the pic if you like.) There isn't even an "old pic" of me in my leathers, so why get one at all?? Strange. I thought I remembered you posting a pic in leather. ryoder 1,590 #29 January 18, 2014 BTW Is your Ninja fuel-injected or carbureted? I've read most of the world is getting the FI model, while the US is still stuck with carbs. Meso 38 #36 January 20, 2014 Good choice ;) I've always been a Yamaha fan. When I turned 16 I got a TZR125RR, the Italian import model. As a kid, I have a memory of my father taking me on his R1 at 220km/h when the R1 was released. Though I have also always had a soft spot for the Kawasaki Ninja. ZigZagMarquis 9 #39 January 20, 2014 When you file the insurance claim, just remember to tell them you had TWO salamis in the saddle bags that were lost too along with the bike! But seriously, glad you weren't on it when it happened.
davjohns 1 #40 January 20, 2014 I've never had that kind of requirement. And I know I will eventually have to go to FI. It might be this year. But I like my machinery simple whenever possible.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But I like my machinery simple whenever possible. I had my concerns when I bought my first FI-vehicle: A 1993 Jeep Wrangler. But I drove it from new until I traded it in on a 2006, and never had a bit of trouble with the FI."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
