I put a jazz station on my radio alarm clock because it's in the sweet spot of annoying enough to get me up while not being so annoying that I get up too quickly and then go back to bed. They've started playing Christmas music, and I've discovered that nothing gets me out of bed to turn the radio off faster than Christmas music. Not even the AM gospel channels see THAT kind of response.

I love everything Christmas except the music! Its ok for Christmas Day but even then I can only handle so much.

Vskydiver and I have been working on the new house and listening to Christmas music half the day. I love the holiday and the music is just fine with me. It brings back so many fond memories. Except for "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer."
