StoppieJoe 7 #4 December 6, 2013 So there is a metal ring handle that resembles a reserve handle, right next to the cutaway handle that activates the main... Implying that there is a spring loaded PC. Yet that is obviously not a spring loaded PC. Further more, what if somebody missed the "main" handle and pulled the cutaway handle and didn't realize it? lol Movies are stoopidCarpe Diem, Even if it kills me -- "Dead Poet's Society" "Are you getting into trouble over there?" --- "Nothing that I'm going to admit to!" ____________________________________

MikeJD 0 #16 December 7, 2013 StoppieJoe lol Movies are stoopid To be fair, movies exist for the entertainment of a big, varied audience - 99% of whom have almost no frame of reference for skydiving. In that context it makes sense for the filmakers to put the handle where they did. Look at an actual sport rig deployment system from a non-jumper's point of view. Why the hell would you put that little grabby-thing all the way back there where you can't even see it? That's stoopid! And at least the Bridget Jones scene features a real jumper doing a real jump - unlike that green-screen abomination from Shoot 'Em Up.

There the same company that owns the one in Bridget Jones film.At long last the light at the end of the tunell isnt an on coming train!!!
