format 1 #26 November 26, 2013 In my mind, I'll skip forward to 2033. Let's say it happened somehow. So now we have what? 10-20 people living there, reporting back whether it's possible to grow and sustain plants, animals and humans. If it's only 10 billion, I'd give it out of my pocket. Even if it's last ten Taking Earth as it is for granted? Really, really childish thinking for mankindWhat goes around, comes later.

davjohns 1 #34 November 27, 2013 Pass. It's happened to me too many times. No sense in trying anymore. I would get to Mars. I would leave the group and trek far away from the lander. I would stand on top of a rise as the sun came over the horizon. I would bask in the idea that no human had ever before seen this geography, had this sun on their face, stood on this ground. Then, I would look down and see a pile of beer cans. Damn.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

If it's so easy to create a self sustaining system then he could throw one into earth orbit with no problem.
