I just joined this forum, and the first profile pic I put up was one of me about a year ago, when my hair was darker (I dyed it blonde) and I had a fuller face of make up in the pic, and it was taken front on. Still the same person.

Please stop accusing me of being a 40 year old man. It really insulting. And not a very welcoming way of treating a new comer.

Ignore the snipes about girls etc. So far there has been one good post and that is that manifest will stop you jumping. If SA is similar to WA you're not going to lose friends over it, but it is stressful and long hours.

That said if you can get rostered on every 2nd weekend working at a dz is a great way to learn. If you can other dz jobs give you more freedom. A packer B rating will let you pack student and tandem gear, the beauty of that is to some degree you can slot jumps in. GCA and helping with tandems is also good - to help with tandems you're just harnessing the students up for the TI. It's more fun than it sounds.

If you want to work full time at a dz in Western Australia I know a place that is looking for all sorts right now.

Remember you won't get all the jumping in that you are used to.

As for age, I have been at DZ's where the dad runs the show, and 15year olds(female) run manifest. Know the rules and stick to them, period.

Also, since you name it in your name "beauty", maybe ask for higher pay, you might attract more jumpers.

Agreed, the DZ's I have visited are tame compared to the platoon of Marines I work with. Not saying right or wrong - just that men will act like men, some more desperate than others.
