JeepDiver 0 #79 December 26, 2005 I put 4 jumps on my new Sabre2 over the weekend. I have to say I love it. The openings were all onheading and o so soft. I had a packer pack it for me after those jumps but when I got home I gave it a try. Here is one thing I learned quickly. Never attempt to pack a new canopy on a tile floor. I drove me crazy! I moved it to my hallway which has carpeting and I was able to get it in the bag. It's was not the prettest packjob but for my 1st attempt I did it. I love the way it handles in the air.... as compared to what I had been jumping, which was a student Navigator. It also has a very strong flare that susprised me a little on that first jump. I stood up all my landings & was within 10 meters of the peas. I was even able to get an impressive little turf surf out of it.... for me it was impressive. After reading all the talk about Pilot -vs- Sabre2 I wasn't so sure I made the right purchase. Not that I've been able to compare the Pilot to my Sabre2 I will say I love my choice now after flying it.
