vincenzo57 0 #1 July 30, 2013 I'm trying to find as many good skydiving clips with good music to them as I can. Music really lifts me and if it's playing to a good skydive video then so much the better. Different types of music across the range can sound good as I'm no musical snob, and my musical tastes would range from REM,Bon Jovi, to some rap type stuff and even pop. My personal favourite vids to catchy music at the moment are www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoSEQCxysgE with music by the Caesars, and Chris Mcdougall's base jump video www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCVJl9bWrCo with the backing track "funshine sunshine" and also the leading edge canopy school on Empuriabrava's website http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hQT6uDvGRv4 which is a bit more pop style but great to watch and listen to. If anyone has any good suggestions then I'm looking forward to finding some great clips

NorrinRadd 0 #7 July 31, 2013 I rather enjoyed all these Funny Farm videos from Picton in Australia. But this was my favourite: http://vimeo.com/63210538Why drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy?
vincenzo57 0 #8 August 1, 2013 Yeah that's different. Loved the first track, some great film too.
FlyBear 1 #9 August 3, 2013 I like this one: https://vimeo.com/59865576 It's not "that" new. I think it has been on iloveskydiving.org but maybe you haven't seen it yet. It has some great flying + great music in it.
vincenzo57 0 #10 August 3, 2013 Some really good filming. With only a few jumps I'm nowhere near getting a camera to jump with, but it's definitely something I'll think about when I'm near that 200 jumps.
FlyingRhenquest 1 #11 August 3, 2013 I kind of liked this wingsuit video, but the music is Celtic-ish, not rock and roll. Bagpipes and stringed instruments get me hot, as long as they're not overly pretentious. I think Tub Ring's Promise Keeper would make a great skydiving video sound track. You need to get through the 30 second classical lead-in on that particular video though. "We Are The Righteous" by the same group would be pretty good too. A little screamy, though. The Beyond Good and Evil sound track is freely available on teh internets, and a couple of their racing mini game tracks would probably work pretty well too. I actually have Fun and Mini Games burned to CD in my car. Slaughterhouse Scramble is another good one, but again a little screamy.I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
FlyBear 1 #12 August 3, 2013 Of course we shouldn't forget the Aviator videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FxQm_uFo7g I like his way of editing and choice of music. He has some more videos on his YT channel. All of them are great! Could someone please tell me the name of the song in McDougall's video? Unfortunately, my mobile phone isn't able to "shazam"... vincenzo57 0 #13 August 4, 2013 You know I would never have believed people would be able to freefly like this before I started skydiving and watching these vids. Some great film here. The track on Chris McDougalls film is called "funshine sunshine" by the way.

NorrinRadd 0 #16 August 6, 2013 Two other wingsuit vids. One is a wingsuit pilot over Burning Man set to 'Dancing Galaxies' by Astral Projection. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn2NG3kTKRs The other is one of Phoenix Fly set to Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPmWOA9cVM4Why drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy? NorrinRadd 0 #22 August 8, 2013 vincenzo57Loved both of your suggestions including the music. Great stuff. It's keeping me going through these weeks where I'm not jumping at the moment. I had to hold off my progression for close to 6 months due to a back injury. Videos were what kept me going too. Anything and everything. Now what I like watching is anything to do with wingsuits and especially freeflying, MOST especially 2's routines. I am pretty sure those are the two disciplines I want to pursue once I am a little more fly in the sky, as it were. Why drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy?
