sundevil777 102 #26 July 22, 2013 dqpackerbest troll ever. Some people would make an anonymous username to ask a general question about this subject. Obviously the guy she talks about is going to read this thread, or hear about it from others. He is friendly to her, stares at her, helps put her rig on...are we supposed to let her know whether he probably "likes" her? Is this middle school?People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
oldwomanc6 60 #27 July 22, 2013 I would think long and hard before dating the boss' son, at least while you are employed there. This advice goes for everywhere, not just the DZ. The ways this could go south are endless. While you two are together, people will tend to think of you as an extension of him, instead of your own person, and when/if you two call it quits, you will get the short end of the stick, because he is the boss' son and will be given every benefit of the doubt. It takes a long time for any jumper to be taken seriously, but it is doubly hard for a girl, especially if she is always on some guy's arm. This may seem like a double standard, but it is what it is. Skydivers may like to think they are enlightened (some actually are), but all you have to do is look around the DZ or read the Bonfire and judge them by their words and actions. They aren't any different than men in any other slice of life. Lets face it, men and women still aren't judged the same when it comes to sexual behavior.lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB

GooniesKid 0 #30 July 22, 2013 Avikus Personal thought? HELL NO!!!! I won't even look at my home DZ girls! They are asexual beings! The least attachment you get to the DZ! The least drama will come from it! The more fun you will have at the DZ (or at work in your case). I know, I know! There is exception ... but 90% of the cases doesn't work and 50% of those turns ugly... fast! I already know my fare share of people that disappear from DZs because of couple drama! Do yourself a favor ... keep skydiving and work and relationship separate. I agree broham. At my DZ i'm keeping an eye out and ear open to a few prospects because I know sooner or later they will be single...and when that happens it'll be my turn

Muffie 0 #32 July 22, 2013 Or "Don't screw the crew." But I guess that one would be for the boss's son. To the OP: You already have a problem because the guy is hanging around staring at you like a lost puppy. Date him and it doesn't work out, it'll be worse. Do you really want a job where every time you talk to another guy for more than ten seconds your ex gets all jealous and weird about it? It's not fun. And in this situation, guess who will end up leaving. Not the boss's son. But sometimes you just have to learn the hard way. (Oh, and I'll believe the OP is a real person when I see a picture of her with Vader.)

DcloudZ 0 #36 July 22, 2013 I choose to abstain from sexual relations at my DZ for a couple simple reasons: 1) It's my second home, and at one point it's just not going to work anymore and every damn time I go to the DZ I'll have to deal with her. 2) Some girls at my DZ get passed around like the tandem jumpsuits, it's gross. Amazon 7 #48 July 22, 2013 skydivebeauty I work as the manifest chick at my dz, and there is this guy (he is the son of the owner) who I really like. Apart from being good looking he is really sweet and friendly towards me. Should I let this go any further? Is having a relationship at the dz a good idea? anyone else been in this position? I really really like him. . . PS: he is my age Thanks x BAD IDEA.. When you break up with your latest "soul mate" who gets possesion of THE DZ in the "divorce". The amount of "As The Prop Turns" that is generated by dating at a DZ is voluminous here on Dizzie Dot Com.. Best not to do it... sleeping in the kitty litter comes to mind.
