Elisha 1 #1 July 4, 2013 Labor day weekend I'm flying to DC for my niece's wedding. My ticket was through a travel agency assigned through my Credit Union Visa and regular Economy. I noticed on the Virigin America site that they have these special lounges in certain airports. To Dulles, I fly out of SFO and stop in LAX with a 100 min layover. On the way back, I may have a few hours to kill in the Dulles airport. Has anyone been to these lounges? Am I excluded since my ticket regular Economy? They mention fees just to enter. Does this fee get you unlimited food & drink or is the fee to just to grace their doorway? I'm curious.

I can't speak for the Virgin ones specifically, but the United ones have various foods and beverages, in addition to comfortable seating and power for your devices.cavete terrae. Elisha 1 #3 July 8, 2013 Do the United clubs cost and include unlimited food & drink? Anyone else?
mrubin 0 #4 July 8, 2013 Most of those lounges are for people with first class tickets or who have a very high priority with the airline's frequent flier program. But a lot of them do sell one day passes that can be used by any of their passengers. Look into that and decide if the cost is worth what you'd get out of it."I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Elisha 1 #5 July 8, 2013 Thanks. I'm guessing that no, the cost is not worth it for me. Thanks.
