masterrig 1 #227 May 30, 2013 What do you think of the 'no goal' call on Chicago in the 3rd. period, last night? The way I see it, the ref was watching the 'action' along the boards in front of the Wings' bench. He blew the whistle to stop the fight at the same time the goal was made. Thus, nullifying the goal. I thought it was a good call. Not because I'm a Wings fan but because I would feel the same way if it was called on the Wings. Chuck
beowulf 1 #228 May 30, 2013 It wasn't much of a fight. By the time he blew the whistle nothing was really happening. I think it was a bad call. It could have been a bad fight but watching it multiple times it didn't look like it was going that way.
masterrig 1 #229 May 30, 2013 Looked to me like the ref wanted to stop it before it got out of hand. I think too, that call will be barroom fodder for some time. Chuck
streaker 0 #230 May 30, 2013 that call will be barroom fodder for some time. Chuck A lot of us Hawk fans truly believe we won that game.....TWICE! Have a yippee ki ya day!
masterrig 1 #231 May 30, 2013 Blackhawks - Kings Blackhawks in 5! The Blackhawks have a lot of depth, very physical, goal scorers and they are the kind of team that gets under their opponent's skin and they draw penalties. Chuck
grimmie 186 #232 May 30, 2013 I think they missed a trip on Z right before the goal, which led to a loose puck.
masterrig 1 #233 May 30, 2013 The call only added a few more minutes to the game but the Blackhawks shrugged it off and won in spite of that call. I thought it was a great series and I'm going to miss seeing the Wings - Blackhawks rivalry. Over 800 meetings in all the years of the NHL. The Blackhawks saw a little set-back in the series with the Wings but came-back and showed their stuff. Excellent series. The Blackhawks are an excellent team. Gritty and they juts don't quit. Cudos to them. Chuck

masterrig 1 #236 June 2, 2013 streaker Great! 1-down, 3 to go! Since the Wings are out of the play-offs, I'm goin' with the Blackhawks. I'm stickin' with 'original 6'. Chuck
lawrocket 3 #237 June 2, 2013 That was brutal. The Kings got their asses kicked. I'm wondering how Sutter is going to deal with this. But thank goodness we have Stoll back. My wife is hotter than your wife.
masterrig 1 #238 June 2, 2013 I've noticed a pattern with the Blackhawks... they have a way of getting their opponent to commit penalties. They did it with the Wings and before them. I think the key to beating the Blackhawks is to stay out of the 'box'. Chuck

masterrig 1 #242 June 2, 2013 There's a few Red Wings who can attest to it. It's not just the younger players falling for it, either. Chuck

lawrocket 3 #250 June 3, 2013 The Kings were humiliated yesterday. Eener and one of her friends had a blast breaking my balls over the game. They were doing just fine without you, Mark. But since the gauntlet has been laid down... [Cool] My wife is hotter than your wife.
