How to make a link "clickable"

Community service anouncement -
When you make a post, under the box you type in, there are 7 "buttons" The last one says "url". To make a link clickable, click on the url "button" once then paste your link next to it then click the url "button" again.
That's it. No magic, no complicated computer voodo, just two clicks either side of the link and hey presto.
It's not rocket surgery people.

This should be implemented in the forum engine. As mentioned, most e-mail programs can do that, skype can do that. It's not that difficult.
