BigMikeH77 0 #1 June 19, 2013 From time to time, I'll have a "multi-million dollar idea". You know, something that should I commit to and nurture and develop would most likely pan out. I suppose I just have an entrepreneurial spirit even though I'm a big lazy butt. My latest one definitely isn't anything I could "get rich" at, but I think it would be a satisfying life. I thought to myself "How great would it be to get some acreage near the DZ, plant a bunch of clover, and raise honeybees? I'd let the bees do their thing and sell the sweetest honey in Colorado, and tell the DZO that folks are welcome to land in my field anytime, just mind the bee boxes!" What are some of your dream jobs or entrepreneurial million dollar ideas?

airtwardo 7 #3 June 19, 2013 Jumping on a trampoline in the 70's I came up with a vertical wind tunnel as a Skydiving simulator...everyone said dumb idea. The 'million dollar' ideas I have these days usually make some money, but are work not fun...but I always remember when I was a kid, one of the kids I rode dirt bikes with use to tinker around a lot. He came up with the reed-valve carburetor - made a life changer deal with Yamaha. That's always stuck in my head that it IS possible, and you don't have to be MENSA to get it done. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
BigMikeH77 0 #4 June 19, 2013 Very true. Back in the early 90's I had one of those ideas that have now come to billion-dollar fruition. One of my friends at the time shot the idea down and being the young person I was decided not to move on it. So yeah, "Dumb idea" doesn't carry a lot of weight anymore. Perhaps, but if you think the potential for crop damage in a clover or cornfield is big, just imagine how much crop you'd lose if a jumper landed in the field you're suggesting to plant! grue 1 #11 June 19, 2013 My dream job is to be a consultant to tech companies where they pay me a lot of money to tell me why their ideas or products are stupid (in excruciating detail, often for reasons that only apply to me, or perhaps nobody at all), without really giving any ideas on a better way to go about it. I would be willing to do this Tuesday to Thursday from 11am to 4pm, and be paid $150/hr + expenses.cavete terrae.

Are you familiar with this product, (made in Boulder)? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRIq9WzzojU I used to pick them up at the Eldo Mkt when I stopped there while cycling. One evening the whole family (it is a family business), was there giving out free samples. The guy is quite a character! Darius11 12 #15 June 20, 2013 I pretty sure I know how to make very affordable electrical energy, massive amount of it with no negative environmental effects. However the system will cost big money! mind you big money for my standards very little money for a corporation standards. But if i explain it i lose the idea.
