Nataly 38 #1 June 1, 2013 One thing that never fails to amaze me is how off-the-mark the publicity ads are on the sites that I visit, especially given all the personal information they probably have access to... They get some basic info right, but SO wrong at the same time... Example: I *am* a woman and I am Canadian, but I couldn't care less about the shoes, diets, plastic surgeries and Tim Horton sales they keep throwing at me (I've never liked shopping for clothes, I'm not fat, and I haven't lived in Canada for over 8 years!!!) I don't think I have clicked on ANY link, EVER, except for when I am browsing and the ad happens to be right next to what I *actually* want to click on... They are all completely uninteresting/irrelevant to me. Does anyone here actually get stuff that is a *good* match with their wants/needs/interests??? I had an SO that use to say they had a NSFW blocker that was only for nudity when I challenged him on it after a comment he made he said that it allows the pics it just blurs out certain areas. Am I being an idiot for believing it, but then not sure if I totally did because crap my comp/phone doesn't have that.No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. "In Before Ad Block Plus" Just assuming someone soon would mention ad blockers; I run ABP on Chrome and Firefox, so my internet surfing is largely ad free. I don't feel bad about it; in the 10+ years of internet browsing before I ran ad blockers, I may have clicked on 1 or 2 ads.
