Amazon 7 #52 February 27, 2013 Quote I think you misunderstand. I don't care if the actress or someone on the beach or whatever wants to show off their body. It's not an issue or morality. I just don't equate that with being taken seriously as an actress. I'm sure it could be done in a way that was pertinent to the plot and I would have to think otherwise. But I can't recall a shot of breasts in a movie that wasn't gratuitous. Again, if that makes her a greater actress, why aren't the men whipping out their penises to be taken more seriously as actors? 300 was great for what it was. But it was hardly serious theater. It was a comic book made into a movie. I didn't see the new Spartacus. The original didn't need gore to be a great movie. Did the new one? Judge for yourself you musthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptX_pjz5s2k Oh and for those who have not seen all of the episodes.. there is some of what I am sure some would say is gratuitous penis as well as much boobage. I would expect that at that time and place.

kallend 2,032 #56 February 28, 2013 Quote Why aren't the older or less attractive actresses flashing their headlights? If it is necessary to the plot when the breasts are young and perky, why not add to the plot of Grumpy Old Men and show a few pair that are 'past their prime'? Like Helen Mirren, Jane Seymour, Susan Sarandon, Cathy Bates, Diane Keaton, Sharon Stone, Jamie Lee Curtis. Oh, wait! ALL of the above have shown their boobs when over 50. Cloris Leachman did it at age 74.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

JohnMitchell 16 #64 March 2, 2013 Quote One forgotten movie: Braveheart. Are you saying anyone takes Mel Gibson seriously?Lessee, didn't what's-his-name show his junk in "The Piano"? That was a highly acclaimed, artsy-fartsy movie that totally droned me to sleep.
TriGirl 319 #65 March 4, 2013 Okay, how that was MEANT to be communicated, is that in the parody song about guys showing their junk, they forgot Braveheart. I thought The Piano was included in that song? See the upside, and always wear your parachute! -- Christopher Titus Shut Up & Jump!

davjohns 1 #68 March 5, 2013 I own Braveheart. I've watched it a few times. I never knew there was a junk shot in it. I will not be watching it to find the shot. Turns out I have not watched a huge percentage of the movies people are citing on here. Not sure why that is. I had no idea that many actresses had gone topless in movies. I continue to be a very odd person...and getting more remote daily. Ah well.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Wallace and his men flashed the English as an insult to them and Longshanks just before the battle began. I love the movie. "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!"
