Man (FS Experience Only) Attempts Take Off, Flight, Landing C172 No Help From Onboard Instructor

Here's an interesting video I found recently.

The pilot has 0 hours of instruction and has never been in a private plane. His only "training" has been on a desktop flight simulator. The goal is to take off, fly, and land the Cessna 172 with no help from the instructor.

It looks to me like the instructor did the taxiing and radio work. The full video is 14:20. The no-experience pilot takes control sitting on the runway ready for take off at 7:39. The video actually ends about 13:40 with the rest just being credits.

I was curious to see how well he did.

At first I thought that the instructor must have been giving right rudder, but then right before the rotation you see the plane start veering to the left. Not sure if the guy was giving any, but it looks like he was putting at least a little in.

A little twitchy, but not bad at all!
