Dave gave a very nice, very confused old cashier a 20 for a 4 dollar purchase. She gave him 21 bucks back. She just didn't get it. I had to teach her how to make change.

No one knows how to "make change" anymore. They don't seem to be able to count the change up to the dollar, and then the fiver and so on... All they know is what the machine tells them. [:/] And that not very well. B|

The world comes to an end if you throw a dime or some pennies in after they have actually rung it in, but haven't given them the money yet. :D

I have worked security and loss prevention for many years and have arrested more than I care to count. Not a harness, they usually have really strong knee and hold it between their knees and practice walking like that so when they walk out of the store they look normal.

This morning the girlfriend discovered her wallet was missing. Got a message from AAA that it was found and a number was left. She had dropped it in the street in front of a friends house last night and the lady next door found it and called AAA and gave the name on the card. When I picked it up I gave her the $60 in it.

NOT a very common experience these days. VERY pleased that there ARE a few out there!
