What I like is they'll take one of the canon stories and not simply set it in modern times, but do so in such a way that shows what wouldn't work from the canon today and what would need to be fundamentally changed in order to make it work. Based on, but not ridiculously beholding to the original canon. I also really like how it points out how some things haven't changed at all in about a hundred years.
