jumper03 0 #1 January 10, 2005 Got my 20th repack done this weekend and I'm stoked!!! Giving myself three weeks to memorize the FARs and then take the written test. I asked around and read all over and couldn't find an answer to this question - After you take the written test - is there a time frame in which you must take the practical and oral? 90 days? 120 days? 1 year? 5 years? It would be crazy to wait that long as you'd forget anything, but I find it hard to believe the gubment didn't put a max time limit on this. *back to the books* JumpScars remind us that the past is real
larsrulz 0 #2 January 10, 2005 I assumed 2 years based on the fact of them being the same for the other FAA tests I have taken, and sure enough: "Airman Knowledge Test Reports are valid for the 24-calendar month period preceding the month you complete the practical test. If the Airman Knowledge Test Report expires before completion of the practical test, you must retake the knowledge test." Page 6 of this. I got a strong urge to fly, but I got no where to fly to. -PF
jumper03 0 #3 January 10, 2005 Thanks! I knew it had to be somewhere. Finding info in government publications is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Scars remind us that the past is real
