Personal thoughts? Anything over 45min drive....is not going to work out. And sadly from what I have seen these algorithms don't take that into account. Thus much as in buying a home...it's all about location location and yes location. Live in a big / medium city the world is your oyster.
Live 35-45min out.....ladies and gents be ready for some major compromising of ones standards.

Back on topic, I hope that "love" doesn't turn out to be some sort of algorithm. On one hand I'm very worried about with who the math would set me up with. However on the other maybe it would make life easier?

I've been on a few of these dating web pages and I have to admit they were fun, I've had some amazing dates and even had one short term fling that lasted a good 6 or so month. But if you ask me, per viewing the algorithm of hooking up women looking for sperm downers and guys who work 7am-6pm and who all of their friends are either married or married with kids....the programs due lack an understanding of the importance of geographic viability.

If you have to drive an hour and a half for a booty call...no matter how great that booty you are going to wonder if there is boot that is only a half an hour drive.

Furthermore I'm of the school of thought that people lie...they just lie. Be it to your face, to themselves or on their profiles. And they are not lying to be deceitful but are rather lying so as to confirm to societies unwritten rules and fears of being called a pervert or too cold. Thus you are left with a sea of profile that read the same "Nice down to earth low maintenance girl looking for Mr. right who never has a bad day."

I know a good many on this forum have utilized these services and am curious what your thoughts are regarding this article and the idea that the human condition of falling in love and forming a pair bond may be a simple math equation?
