Most limits if pushed had better have a reason for them - rules - messurments- standards- should in many cases eco or even shadow the laws that we arrive with and the rules that would be used to keep us safe and moving forwards. The issue should never be it was good enough - And the underlining political nature with want to secretly make things more complicated is usually someone elses attempt at drama or hype - one or others gole at painting "its ok's " in a world structured with a lot of "NO its NOTs". Danger is best delt with by thredding the neddle types and most leaders in our sport had better be a rigger or a designer or something proffesional - or at least supported by those good ideas.
