pompita 0 #1 January 5, 2012 Holy crap, I hate my job. Spent all day thinking about skydiving while being asked questions I could give three shits about. Need to pay for my jumps and gear somehow I guess. One of the many reasons I love skydiving is it requires complete focus on the very moment. No other thoughts may interfere, nothing else can get in the way. What a fantastic way to detach from the real world for a while! pompita
monkycndo 0 #2 January 5, 2012 In this economy, hating your job is a luxury that lots of unemployed folks wish they had. When I start to feel the way you do, I think "Love my paycheck" instead. Kind of takes the frustration away. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
pompita 0 #3 January 5, 2012 Thanks man. Gotta change my perspective, that's for sure. It can definitely get frustrating, but it's a part of life. Paycheck, paycheck, paycheck...yea, it's going to take some work.

Wish I had my teaching job and the stability of a state university paycheck...
RevvyAiny 0 #5 January 5, 2012 I'm totally resonating with what you've expressed. I'm a noob; this is my first off-season. Not in a position to follow the sun. So I fight most days to not wish I was somewhere in the sky. I thought the feeling would get better as time went by, but it has not. Looking for balance between real word and love for flight, but it is, as yet, elusive.
