freethefly 6 #28 July 26, 2011 Was that a stock rebuild on the engine or did you go for the performance upgrades? I know that they are quick as they are, but hey, you can always go faster!"...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Squeak 17 #36 July 30, 2011 Went to visit my Shop guy today, to pay off a little of my Tab. He did the complete gearbox and engine rebuild for me. Unfortunelty it cost me another $440.00 just for the vist. But I now have a nice shiny brand new 8" headlight instead of the pissy little 7" I already had You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! Squeak 17 #37 October 2, 2011 OK progress is underway, (ui told you I was lazy and it would be slow) Firstly, the is my Numero Uno attempt at painting, some flaws are present, however, I do take pride in the fact that other then the gearbox rebuild, it's ALL my work. Still have to flat the paint back and clear coat it then polish. Should be starting to reassemble this week. The hope is a running bike within 2 weeks. the painting so farYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? Squeak 17 #41 October 6, 2011 Slowly coming together, annoying small shite to deal with now. Like finding out that I left bearing Races in the swingarm when powdercoated, then i had to have them welded out which fooks up the paint, therefore back to the powedercoater. Since it's a slightly important bit for making a rolling chasis, i have had to wait. But it does give me the chance to make small bracketry for indicators and horns etc... Might take longer then the 2 weeks i had planned but not much longerYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
