JerseyShawn 0 #2 October 1, 2011 Damage, inc. Escape Creeping Death "And Justice for All" was my first taste of metal way back in the 4th grade, 86' or 87'. Love their old shit still. Metallica is one of those bands you'll never get sick of and can listen to for the rest of your life. Too bad they decided to cut their hair and get all slow. Coreece, your "Seek and Destroy" was played on opening of the Opie and Anthony show (radio) on 9/12/01. Freaking surreal, seeing the convoy of army trucks going towards Manhattan, and watching/hearing the fighter jets fly all day above while listening to that song. 1969912 0 #6 October 1, 2011 I really dig the stuff on the S&M album with the SF Symphony. Metal and a full symphony orchestra seem to fit really well together. Been on a Nightwish bender for the last couple months "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG

dkavadikian 0 #9 October 1, 2011 Ill play... Really anything from Kill em All, it defined my teenage years. In 83 I was 13/14 and getting angry :) and this was what I was all about. The Four Horsemen (Mechanix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4nCy5CITc8 Seek and Destroy w/Dave Mustaine of course http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqMEopDdJhw Battery from Master of Puppets -I remember buying this "tape" from Peaches record store and listening to this first track cranked in the car driving home and thinking about how great this will be in concert. I was 16/17 and had just bought this '68 Mustang, life was good. I wonder where that car is now? i think it was right after that Cliff Burton was killed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNPKsMtpOHc&feature=related Its hard to choose, like most of us I relate music to different times in my life and its sometimes hard to separate the music and the times... Thanks for giving me a reason to get out all of my old Metallica and listen again. College football muted with Metallica playing. Doug
