doog 0 #1 August 16, 2011 So.. Here I sit, in a big tent in Resolute, Nunavut. That's around 74 degrees, 42 minutes North of everywhere. It is 1 degree C and there are a few light flurries coming out of a very low ceiling. The nearest tree is thousands of kms away. We sleep in tents, eat in tents, shower in tents and shit in tents. When you get up in the middle of the night to go to the can you have to get fully dressed and walk 100 meters. You can't just sneak out at night and take a pee by a tree because there ain't no trees and it never gets dark. There is a fleet of twin Otters parked 100 feet away from my place of work as well as a helicopter and and at times, Hercs, C-17 Globemasters and DC 10s, and I don't have a rig and they don't have jump doors. I need a freakin skydive real soon or I am goin out to wrestle a polar bear (or a muskox..whichever is handy). Other than that I am havin a great day. I had to get that out of my system. Things could be worse.DOOG Muff 846 All you people are here to make sure I have a good time.
