FlyingFrank 0 #1 August 5, 2010 I'm currently drinking Sam Adams Seasonal, but my favorite beer is probably Magic Hat #9 (if you haven't drank this beer, go get some NOW). How about you guys? If it's not beer, what other type of alcoholic drink is your favorite? Some people spend their whole lives afraid to die that they never truly live. AggieDave 6 #2 August 5, 2010 I don't always drink beer, but when I do its either Shiner Bock or Saw Tooth Ale (Left Hand Brewery). Typically its Jack Daniels, though.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

Master_Yoda 0 #4 August 5, 2010 My favorite is Moylan's "Kilt Lifter". It's a thick, rich, kinda chocolatey Scottish ale. Moylan's is a micro-brewery in Novato, CA about a half hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

billvon 3,068 #6 August 5, 2010 Number Nine is pretty good, although Arrowhead Apricot is a pretty good contender as well. Dogfish Head Aprihop is even better than Number Nine if you like hoppier beers. But favorite? Depends on the mood. For celebrations and the like when you want something really good: Lost Abbey Angel's Share Grand Cru Port Brewing Older Viscosity Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Alesmith Speedway Stout Ballast Point Victory at Sea vanilla porter Easy drinking beers when it's hot out: Hangar 24 Orange Wheat (now available at the Bomb Shelter!) Dogfish Head Festina de Peche Sam Adams Noble Pils Pyramid Hefeweizen (now has some silly name like audacious or something) Blue Point toasted lager Interesting beers: Isabella Proximus (sourest beer you've ever had) St. Bernardus Abt 12 quadrupel Lost Abbey Cable Car (finally found a bottle of this stuff) Russian River Sanctification Ballast Point Sour Wench In general, Firestone Walker, Ballast Point, Dogfish Head, Hangar 24, Port Brewing, and Alesmith are all easy choices - these guys don't make any bad beer. Damn, a Shiner Bock sounds so good right now. Sometimes it's too carbonated for my tastes, but when it's perfect, it's one of the best beers ever. @billvon. Where are you, and can I come drink with you? My mouth is watering just reading all that. Goose Island is a microbrew in Chicago, right? I have heard that brewery before, and if it is the Chicago brewery, one of their beers was awesome. Can't remember the name though...Some people spend their whole lives afraid to die that they never truly live.

lawrocket 3 #13 August 5, 2010 I'm not talking about the special beers (Trappists, etc.). But my favorite just day-to-day would likely be Firestone Double Barrel Ale. Just about anything from Firestone or Stone Brewing is fanstastic. My wife is hotter than your wife.

kasch 0 #22 August 5, 2010 I tried that drink James Bond blurted out in Casino Royale a few weeks ago, was actually pretty good. 2 measures of Gordons, 1 measure top shelf vodka (I used ketle), 1/2 measure of vermouth (he used kina lillet but no one ever has it). Shaken in ice and served up over lemon. But usually I drink Guinness or Ketle One.Sex with sith is like sex with a stripper.
