ltdiver 3 #1 July 31, 2011 We've all heard the advice to avoid urinating by any water supply, yes? Well, this is the first time I've ever heard this added advice! Really? Salt Licks! Andy0689 0 #4 July 31, 2011 There was an article in the Tacoma News Tribune about this a month or so ago. It has become such a problem in some areas that there is talk about having hikers carry out their urine too. So, on top of having to haul out blue bags full of shit we have to carefully keep our piss bottles separated from our gatorade bottles.Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube! Hey if you mix up the gatorade and piss bottles just think of it as recycling.

JohnRich 4 #8 August 1, 2011 QuoteIt has become such a problem in some areas that there is talk about having hikers carry out their urine too. The park service should just install some salt blocks for the animals well away from the hiking trails. That way the animals get the salt they need, and they don't have to come into contact with people to do it. Doh!

PLFKING 4 #10 August 1, 2011 Quotewe have to carefully keep our piss bottles separated from our gatorade bottles. Just label the piss bottle as 'Miller Lite'.....problem solved. A fifty pound salt or salt-mineral block is only about $5 - $6 bucks each. Chuck
