Gas thieves drilling holes into tanks of parked vehicles

They do this in Africa to the pipelines with really bad results sometimes. Drilling into a vehicle tank doesn't seem much safer to me.

They did that to our company truck about 6 months ago. Bad part was there was only like about half agallon if that in there so they drilled three holes I got to pull the tank and weld it up.

What they do here is use a punch and a bucket...take 4-5 gallons and rub a bar of soap over the hole. The soap re-seals it...for a while.

There were like 5 cars with buckets under them draining at the WallyWorld last weekend when someone noticed!
