point_code 0 #7 July 28, 2006 I grew up in Coolidge and can remember the sound of the jumpships every weekend. My mom and dad took me to the DZ waaaaay out in the desert a few times as a little kid and I thought it was just too cool. Anyhow, I've been gone from there for 20 years and didn't get into skydiving til I was nearly 40. Just wondered if anyone I knew was jumping there. Too bad it's closed down.
