Conundrum 1 #1 March 26, 2011 After our last boxer died, we waited a week and went back to the rescue, where we found this gem; a 3 year old female half brindle half white. She's such a sweetheart, not good with other dogs, though. Name was Melony, we changed it to Millie. We have boxers, and I feel the key to them getting along with other dogs seems to be early socialization with other dogs, i.e. training classes early. We found this out with our first female. But, boxers are very smart, and I do believe with the proper training, lots of it, and a good home, you will have a beautiful companion. Hell, start hammering Cesar Millan for a training session. You are great person for rescuing her! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? I corrected her behavior every time she showed any signs of agression. She would at times take the "just do it" attitude and take the punishment. When she did learn to get along with other dogs I think she enjoyed it the friendships. Since she was born on Halloween & considering she is a DZ dog, & Daddy & Mommy are Skydivers, she was renamed Voodoo ! "Daddy" aka.
