Yogurt water: mix it in or pour it out?

Recommended Posts

So, I LOVE Chobani greek yogurt. Like, three or more servings a day, LOVE LOVE LOVE that stuff. But, once in a while I get a cup with that suspect clear watery liquid that's separated out from the rest of the yogurt. It hasn't gone bad (how can you tell?) or anything... I used to mix it in but nowadays I pour that out before mixing the rest.

If you used to mix it in, why do you pour it out now??

But it's whey good for you!

And it's got nothing to do with whether the yogurt's gone bad. Yogurt keeps for a long time. And it sounds like you're eating it fast enough that it doesn't stick around long enough to go bad. ;)
