benpat 0 #1 March 7, 2005 My cypres is now toast, being 12 years old, I have since replaced it BUT... Is there anybody OUT there, who can maybe suggest a fitting end to this thing of beauty.....The wackier the better,Think outside the Box[man]

JohnMitchell 16 #4 March 7, 2005 Here's what I'm planning. Wait until repack is due, set that Cypres to go off at 3000', put on a front mount reserve, and jump out from 12,500 and let the cypres open me later. Seems a shame to keep them 12 years and never let them pop their cork at least once.

riggerrob 643 #9 March 7, 2005 How about giving it to a Rigger Instructor so he can dismantle it for a training aid? You can ship it for FREE - to me (an RI) - if you just hand it to one of the Ontario delegates to CSPA's Annual General Meeting, being held at my DZ at the end of this week. upndownshop 0 #10 March 7, 2005 The unit is worth $60.00 and an unused cutter is worth $40.00 for trade in. Your dealer is encouraged to pass this on to you when you buy a new one. Airtec started this program back in 2002 I believe.
