Amazon 7 #29 March 1, 2011 QuoteI think if you make a list you will find there are actually very few that criticize women. There are just a few assholes that make a lot of noise. Unfortunately this describes most situations in life. I put it down to their lack of success in personal relationships that have lead to that level of misogyny. There seems to be a predatory group who can only see new females at their DZ's as prey which leads to many of those women not sticking around the sport after running into one of these asshats and their wingbuddies. cocheese 0 #31 March 1, 2011 Let's face it. Women are wacked. Most women here are not like your average whuffo woman. They realize most women are wacked as well. That's why a lot of skygirls have mostly male friends....Even before they started skydiving. And most of their female friends are skydivers. Skybabes are usually tougher and more capable than average women. They don't have time or a desire to whine and create drama.

Arvoitus 1 #33 March 1, 2011 QuoteI'm constantly amazed by all the woman-bashing that goes on in these forums. And it occurred to me that it's not often that the women on here actively criticise men. In fact, we spend a great deal of time defending ourselves (as opposed to attacking). And on balance, you men have just as many faults as we do! So we *could* go on and on about these if we wanted to! I was just wondering why it is that so many guys on here consistently bash/insult/criticise women, while so few of the women ever bash/insult/criticise men... Is it because we're a minority and therefore it's not in our interest to piss off the majority? Is it bullying? Insecurity? What?? The question goes out to both genders... ETA: By "many" I don't mean the majority.. Just comparatively speaking. Ever watch the news, read a newspaper, watch the TV? Its a constant 24/7 shit fest aimed at bashing men. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZAuqkqxk9A Don't get your knickers in a twist just cause there happens be few guys here who have a no non-sense approach to women.Your rights end where my feelings begin. PhreeZone 20 #40 March 1, 2011 On a tangent of your comments Bill, I was reading an article this week about how there are now more women attending college than men currently. What the research paper was examining was what the effects of a higher female to male population in college was doing for sexual behavior among college students and they found that sex was "cheaper" than its ever been for a male in college since there are now more women competing for them so the women are willing to have sex much faster in a "relationship" then what they would be willing to do if the numbers were reversed. Shah just go back to college full time and your issues are taken care of.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Yeah I'm in an EMBA program. 7 guys and 7 lovely soccer moms who think I'm nuts for owning a bike and jumping out of aircraft...I may have to go into undergrad and skip engineering. As for getting paid equal or more? Look at what I said about girls going to school for engineering. ON average a femal engineer gets paid more than a male engineer when you look at their first 5 years of work. But then again...who wants to get down and dirty with an chick engineer? Nataly 38 #45 March 1, 2011 Quotewww.esa.doc.gov/sites/default/files/reports/documents/womeninamerica.pdf Women now outnumber men in at all levels (BA/BS through doctoral) in US colleges. That report supports all my arguments thus-far... Outnumbering men at university is not an indicator of success / equality in the workforce. Read the full contents table... It's not a pretty picture for women. Not yet. Madeleine Albright gave this excellent interview on Ted.com about the positive things that start to happen when you empower women and give them equal opportunity, et cetera. http://www.ted.com/talks/madeleine_albright_on_being_a_woman_and_a_diplomat.html She also made a funny (but insightful) comment at 9:10: "well I do think when there are more women, that the tone of the conversation changes. And also the goals of the conversation change. But it doesn't mean that the whole world would be a lot better if it were totally run by women. [...] If you think that, you've forgotten high-school!" Well, I agree... I think it's not good to have an imbalance of power/opportunity for either gender.
