Sunday was my 29th birthday and my mom can out to Skydance and did an observer ride with her friend that did a tandem with me. It was her first time out to the DZ so that was cool. Afterwards she brought a real cake and flygirl1 made a pretend cake out of whipped cream and cool whip. I was clueless as after the b-day song Leah smashed it in my face to also celebrate my 1,000th during the American Boogie. I started in March and thought I'd get it done by the end of March but I'm a big pussy so it took me 3 2 hour sessions and 1 30 min session rather that one 2 hour for the outline and 4.5 for the shading. Trust me. I tried to get it done before the summer started. Now I'll probably end up waiting until the season is over before I go in for touch ups.
