I dunno, but the kid is too old to be named "Matrix" after the movie which came out in 1999. It's possible it's a nickname that he now uses as his legal name rather than his birth name.

When I was in high school, I remember guys at my lunch table snorting crushed oreos and other shit

I can remember cutting up a little container of Nutrasweet on a restaurant table once, to see if I could fool another jumper who was pretty willing to snort just about anything.

Yup, he was interested. Even though it was there in public he was all over it. We didn't let him actually snort it, just wanted to see if he'd even question what it was.

When I went through Boot Camp, there was guy that would roll out the tobacco in his cigarettes and refill the paper tubes with toothpase and let them dry for smoking. Said it gave him a great buzz!
