davedlg 0 #2 December 12, 2005 They have a skyride consumer alert and exact directions to the dropzone on their website, so I would say no. http://jumpindy.com/Consumer%20Alert.html

riddler 0 #5 December 12, 2005 Quote Skyride's havin' a YARDSALE! Yeah, to pay for the investigation, they've gotta get rid of all those planes and DZs they "own". Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
ChasingBlueSky 0 #6 December 12, 2005 If Skyride wants to market in other cities or other mediums....there is nothing wrong or illegal with that. This is essentially what 1800 Skydive does. As long as they remain legal and ethical I don't think anyone would have a problem. The issue is the alleged activities documented in the other Skyride thread. Those are the real issues. People shouldn't be soo itchy to react if they are just operating like a business._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... nchappell 0 #12 January 8, 2006 We are an actual, physical DZ located in Lebanon Indiana. We are most def. not with Skyride (hence the disclaimer on the web site). We would love to have you out for a visit this summer! BTW- I am glad you like the Buy 3 get 1 Free offer!
dchappell 0 #13 January 8, 2006 Just to confirm.... No Skyride here. As one of the former owners of SSM in Fentress Tx, we will never associate with that company again. Don't trust them! We did for a short period of time and it cost us and the consumer. We only honored 3 paid certificates, but it took us 6 months to collect any money. Scam. scam, scam!!!!! Look for our grand opening this spring. No BS, just good plain fun and a lot of jumping. jumpindy.com
Driver1 0 #14 January 14, 2011 It seems Skyride is upping the stakes. Now they are fraudulently advertising to be skydiving on several different military installations. Maybe some of you Military guys may want to pursue this with the appropriate Military authorities. These are a few samples, but there's plenty more. http://fortdixskydiving.com/ http://fortknoxskydiving.com/ http://fortbraggskydiving.com/ http://fortirwinskydiving.com/ http://fortcarsonskydiving.com/ http://www.skydivinghuntsville.net/redstone-arsenal-skydiving-03.html http://coloradospringsskydiving.com/fort-carson-skydiving-05.html http://www.1800skyride.com/locations/skydiving/georgia-fort-benning/fort-benning-skydiving.php http://www.1800skyride.com/locations/skydiving/alaska-fort-richardson/fort-richardson-skydiving.php http://www.skydivinginwashingtondc.com/skydiving/fort-belvoir-virginia/skydiving-in-fort-belvoir.php http://www.goskydivinginphiladelphia.com/skydiving/fort-dix-new-jersey/skydiving-in-fort-dix.phpThere will be no addressing the customers as "Bitches", "Morons" or "Retards"! billvon 3,028 #16 January 14, 2011 Let's keep the Skyride threads in General, please. We don't need six different Skyride threads running at any given time.
