TALONSKY 0 #2 March 23, 2005 Well I would assume part of it is they are made of F111 instead of ZP.
FrogNog 1 #3 March 23, 2005 Aren't 7-cell canopies usually cheaper than 9-cell canopies, as well? Does the solid, not-custom-order coloring have any effect? -=-=-=-=- Pull.
Travman 6 #4 March 23, 2005 Maybe the development cost that goes into mains? Reserves being a tried and true design are cheaper, whilst new mains come out every so often, so the R&D costs need to be recovered. Thats my first impression anyway, I'm sure others can shed more light on the matter.
GravityGirl 0 #5 March 23, 2005 R & D costs. Also the manufacturing costs on reserves are lower. Them make more of a single style at a time reducing man hours. Also the materials cost is less. That's just my personal opinion. I don't make 'em. I just sell 'em! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
