Non-Split G-4 main deployment bag

Does it make packing easier as it claims?

I have packed plenty of regular g4 split bags, and thousands of non-split bags. most g4 owners find the split bag easy to pack, but there are some of us who prefer a good old-fashioned (non-split) bag.

when buying my mirage, I bought a g3 rather than a g4 because of the main d-bag, since at the time the bag option didn't exist.

I got my G4 with a split bag. It worked fine and still does. My new G3 bag has no split. It works fine. I think if you have your packing technique down, the non split bag is just one less step. If you're still at the point where you lose control of the packjob as it goes in the bag, the split bag is the way to go.

I love my split bag. I have had customers order the non-split as well. It's just personal preference.

Do you have a new main? Or is it slightly used? Are you struggling with your packing now?

Thought I'd try it out since it came with it.

I had my G-4 split bag sewed up to make a non-split bag... I have found it easier to bag without the split the few times that I've done it..
