warpedskydiver 0 #1 December 18, 2010 Well it happened today so many times I lost count, people even forced their way in so they could try and run the red lights. I was quite surprised to see that one lady who cut into it in order to run red lights was T Boned by a semi. Oh well, I guess that's Karma weighing in at 60'000lbs. Those people have no respect, nor brains. I was surprised to see a cop actually witness people trying to ram through it and then do nothing.
anthonyfellows 0 #2 December 18, 2010 I love Karma! Stupid bitch ... Served her right. That is way better punishment than any ticket that a police officer could write Serious relationships turn into work after a few weeks and I already got a fucking job :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ H.A.F. = Hard As Fuck ... AggieDave 6 #3 December 18, 2010 People are surprised by cops doing "nothing" when they see something. Sometimes the reason why they do nothing is because they are doing something else (that by policy is a higher "importance"). Anyways, around here karma for people cutting through funeral processions is usually riding a ST1300...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." warpedskydiver 0 #4 December 18, 2010 Dave this was a Crook Co, cop, sitting at the light just relaxing. I knew you would not think highly of those people with no respect for someone taking the last ride.

If an officer is doing Road gaurd duty, he can't be staying behind, he has another intersection to get to, they will calll it in,but if no one needs medical attention, they have another job to do! Biker funerals, always have assigned road gaurds, I have done the job more times than I care for! We block the lights, so the police can keep rolling with the procession...then pass the line of bikes ,and block the next light....

AggieDave 6 #7 December 18, 2010 QuoteDave this was a Crook Co, cop, sitting at the light just relaxing. Maybe, maybe not. I wasn't there, but I've been setup somewhere before watching for a dispatched BOLO. Sure looks like I'm just sitting there to anyone with out a MDC. QuoteI knew you would not think highly of those people with no respect for someone taking the last ride. Exactly! There are few sacred societal beliefs or traditions left. Respect for a funeral is one of the last ones, but that is quickly and has been quickly fading away. This isn't some sort of religious statement or general beliefs in an afterlife, but respect for friends and family who may be grieving a loss. We are left with begrudged attendance in jeans and t-shirts and people unwilling to look outside of their immediate bubble to show any respect. Those people are much too important to either pull over (or use a different roadway) when a funeral passes. Some are even so important that they simply cut through or latch on a procession. What would happen to our world if people showed a little respect and exercised a little patience with others?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." warpedskydiver 0 #8 December 18, 2010 The thing is that NO LEO's even did roadguard. It was requested and denied. Nice huh?Back in 1984 when my Nono died there were 7 actually in the procession, many more on road guard. But the chief of Stone Park was his hunting buddy for years and a close family friend. There was only one incident of someone trying to ram through, that did not work out so well, in the rearview mirror I saw him pulled from his car and thrown down. No respect at all! Sounds like a decent judgement call to decide against further disrupting the procession by flipping on his lights and sirens and diving in there just to ticket someone for being an asshole."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
warpedskydiver 0 #10 December 18, 2010 Nope, when the lights changed he turned right, away from the procession.
