The teacher before my class actually has his students draw and teaches technique and such in his class. You would expect an art class to be hands on

My art history teacher just made us write a paper on the aesthetics of art. I was pulling my hair out trying to explain why some people like a certain thing and others don't.

I'm a bio geek, so my only art classes were art history. My prof - in his 40s, maybe he wasn't tech savvy - taught using a slide projector and a chalkboard. He used slides of each important art piece and just that. He'd describe the slides and why they were important.
