If I really wanted to, I could walk out my door with my gear, go make a jump and get back in bed in 1 hour. Usually takes an hour 20 cuz I"m lazy.

My back has limited my hiking to within a mile between breaks..uphill, even less...

yet my son still keeps me climbing mountains every week... just takes longer than it did a few years ago...

Pretty much the same as me. 1k footer down the road that doesnt require a ton of work to jump. (obviously depending on how high you want to climb).

But I also love freeflying and swooping and I cant do that stuff without an airplane, so I skydive.

They absolutely did not learn to do that from jumping off large cliffs. I personally don't have a (legal) large cliff handy either so I sure won't be flying like that from a cliff anytime soon.

Swooping a base canopy is fun and all but it's nothing like a Velocity.
