So my jumping dry spell continues ... it just got too freakin' cold all of the sudden this season ... and still plenty of windy days .

Took yesterday off work and made 8 jumps... finished my weekend off with 19 I think. Weather was great most of the weekend. Got too windy for a while on Saturday so I went over to an off-DZ accuracy competition to watch big canopies in squirrely winds. Great entertainment!

Sketchy weather kept me from even venturing out, even though it got better during the day. Looking at a 1+hour drive at 1-2 in the PM just makes me not so hard core.

0-0-0 . not good . going on a 30 day dry spell . don't want to take 1stjc all over , in a way i wouldn't mind, but a whole saturday in the classroom ? our dz had demos all day , i was on ground crew . close but no cigar . along with the tandems not many fun slots were open. had to get back early for a 4am show 5am go trip. oddly enough the 2nd leg of the trip put us in mwo , middletown ohio . a beautiful dz. caravan lift. traded rides with the pilot . almost got a jump in. as i was manifesting my passengers called . it would have been my 1st monday jump , ever !

No jumps for me, taking a break until after January . But Skydive East Tennessee had an excellent weekend with PERFECT weather and a fabulous airplane. The Pac flew 23 loads Saturday and 17 loads Sunday, so that's 40 loads between the 2 days. I know because I was working manifest. Man, after working manifest I can't wait to get back in the air!!! They did a few Friday afternoon, not sure how many because I had to work at my real job.

What a great weekend at SET!

All tandems. Had two more scheduled when a storm moved in. Got the last load down and decided to suspend operations. Within about five minutes all hell broke loose. That sucker was moving fast.

It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
