lekstrom10k 0 #1 October 11, 2010 Tonight on National Geographic at 9:00 EST there is a documentory on Skyjacking . It is centering around DB Cooper ,one scene shows a square canopy landing at night. DB jumped a non -steerable 28 foot round . He also had a "Do not jump"training reserve stuffed with rags. They also have DNA to solve the mystery. It ought to be hilarious. record it so when you burst out laughing you can back up and do it again. It will be like the 3:58 second freefall in "Point Bleak"

You might want to check that out . . . or not. Either way, please keep discussions surrounding the minutia of the DB Cooper case confined to that particular thread.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
AggieDave 6 #5 October 11, 2010 "But my uncle's sister's dead cousin said once that he was DB Cooper. I know that there is no surrounding evidence and that that it has been disprove a few times, but I believe it so everyone else is wrong..." There ya go, that's over 2,000 posts in a thread summed up for you in a paragraph.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." skyrider 0 #6 October 11, 2010 WOW, Simply "WOW" aren't we adults? can't we talk about things? So if I say "DB Cooper, it can only be in that thread? Even though it is now a current event on TV?

We prefer you keep it confined to that thread simply because it's simpler for everyone involved. Rather than chasing down a million bits of data in a million threads, it's all in one place and the "experts" there can confirm, deny, debate any question or issue on it simply rather than having to check a bajillion different threads. This works to everyone's advantage.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

davjohns 1 #10 October 11, 2010 My first jump, I was talking to God in freefall. Lately, I just hear voices...I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
