shropshire 0 #51 August 8, 2010 Quote Quote Anyway. My suggestion for shotgun would be The Worlds Fastest Indian..... I've had that in my Netflix queue for a while. I keep looking at it, but I end up watching something else. I'll try to check it out. Thanks... I really love that film (.)Y(.) Shotgun 1 #52 August 11, 2010 QuoteCrazy Heart OK, I watched this tonight. It was good. It had some pretty scenery, and I really enjoyed the music... "Sometimes falling feels like flying... for a little while." And Bridges was a pretty convincing alcoholic.

wmw999 2,515 #54 August 11, 2010 OK, it's after the weekend, but we just saw Precious. It was awesome -- we thought we'd girded ourselves for something depressing but good, but it just wasn't generally depressing. There were depressing parts in it, but overall it was about strength, and not weakness. It was every bit as good as everyone said. We knew Jeff Bridges could sing but Colin Farrell surprised me too!"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read the book that it was based on, and it was very good. I read it on a plane and was having to fight back tears at a couple of places, but it definitely left me feeling more inspired than depressed. I'd like to see the movie too. TiaDanger 0 #57 August 11, 2010 Not sure if anybody has mentioned it, but Simon Birch is a wonderful movie And also, Meet Joe Black is one of my favorites as well. And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant. Shotgun 1 #59 October 5, 2010 QuoteThe Apartment I finally got around to watching this. Actually, I watched it twice. It's a really good movie regarding the writing, directing, acting, etc., and I found the story idea to be interesting. But, for a drama, I found myself emotionally detached from it. Not sure why; maybe I just didn't relate to the characters or something.

wolfriverjoe 1,523 #62 October 5, 2010 Dark City is a very underrated film (IMO). Very "Film Noir" in appearance. Twisty and weird. It got great reviews, but next to no "box office". I went to see it and we were the only 2 in the whole theatre."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." I could discuss that film for hours.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
