d_squared431 0 #1 September 29, 2010 change the way you do things? For example: say you are doing something at work or home and always perform that task the same way each time. Do you change directions or hands. Like I am a Righty but when I am bored I will try to do everything left handed. Some times I will have a backwards day and do everything as a lefty just for a change of pace. Picking up my coffee cup, throwing a ball, kicking a ball, eating, wiping(bathroom), etc. If you haven't you should try it. Nope, i'm happy to do all the day-to-day stuff the same way, unless I think there's a better way. Especially in my line of work, it's good to try new techniques to improve performance, but consistent work habits are highly encouraged.

ryoder 1,590 #24 September 29, 2010 Quote Yeah I am thinking that you doing everything backwards would be a very bad thing for a lot of pilots Been there; Tried that. While being towed in the glider, the towplane pulls at a higher speed than the glider is normally flown, and it make the controls stiff as hell. I used to get cramps in my forearm on the tows to higher altitudes, so one day I tried switching hands on the stick. I had absolutely no coordination with the left hand. So I resorted to gripping the right wrist with my left hand to assist the right arm."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
