Z1 EVO Helmets size

I recently bought an XXL EVO and it was way too tight. The web sight said the XXL was for 23.5 and up, I have a 23,5 incd head. Just wandering if anybody else has had this problem with EVOs.

Mine was tight until I stopped trying to put my chin in the plastic part like a MX helmet, and put it in the fabric under it. It does loosen up a little bit. you might want to check and see that you have the XXL liner. From what I understand the helmet shells are the same you just change out the linders to get different sizes

I've heard on these forums that the Z1's are sized smaller than other helmets. ie a medium is tighter than a medium in othersizes.
There have been a few people that have had troubles with the Z1 being too small and have gone to boneheads.

I found the EVO to be too short from front to back when it fits from side to side (I've never noticed Italians to have short fat heads). My Z1 fits fine.
